Jérôme Grivel

Solo Show

12 Nov. 2025 — 11 Jan. 2026

17 rue de Richelieu, Paris I

Jérôme Grivel is a French artist born in 1985.
He is active in both the visual arts (draughtsman, sculptor, video artist) and scenic arts (performer, musician and choreographer).

In his visual proposals, Jérôme Grivel engages in research into landscape, architecture and the body. Each work is an escape strategy that the artist presents to us, but whose finalitý is not a solution, rather a disquieting observation. In this, they are mental images of a tension between man and his environment, between the need for freedom and constraining, even repressive reality.

A graduate of ENSA Villa Arson (Nice), he exhibits, performs and holds residencies in France and abroad. He has been nominated for various awards (Bourse Révélation Emerige in 2017, Prix Sciences Po in 2019, Prix de dessin Pierre David Weill in 2021...) and is the winner of the Prix du Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles, Carré sur Seine 2024.

Jérôme Grivel is represented by Galerie Idéale↗︎, Paris.
